I couldn’t quite decide whether to put this as one of my favorite drinks or bites to eat, so it’ll get both. The churros here are not the unholy gum shredding mess, doused with cinnamon and sugar, you may get at the typical food truck or “Spanish” restaurant. These churros are light and airy inside and fried to just the right crispiness on the outside. But the dipping chocolate is really what sets this off, hence, my dilemma. The chocolate is made from rich pure sweetened dark chocolate powder and water. There is no milk to adulterate the chocolate flavor and anything remaining in the dipping cup is silky smooth as a drink afterward.
